Summer Skiing At Vancouver Island’s Mount Washington

The first time in 32 years.

Lintons Loop has been groomed and skiers are hitting the slopes over the next two days.

Mount Washington Ski Resort is excited by this unique opportunity for Vancouver Island skiers to enjoy the slopes with sun beating down. The Resort expects to see lots of bikini tops and even guys in shorts enjoying the slopes.

After an extraordinary winter where Mount Washington ranked at the top of the biggest snowpacks in the World and hosted many Olympians, the residue of the snow still persists and this offers a real PR opportunity for the resort.

This weekend is the first of a host of special events going on the mountain over the next three months. Included in that programme are mountain biking , food and beer fests and other music events.
