Bamberton Accident, Truck Trailer Rollover

Mill Bay Fire Department responded, along with Ambulance and RCMP to what was initially thought to be a two vehicle accident with propane and fuel leaking.

Once on scene, Mill Bay discovered it was a single pickup with 4 occupants and towing a RV trailer.

All four patients were removed and taken by ambulance to hospital. After close examination it was determined that no fuels or propane were leaking.

Mill Bay Fire remained on scene to assist in disconecting the truck from the trailer using heavy saws and tools.

Mill Bay Fire was not available for comment.

It is not know what the cause of the accident or extent of damages were.

Traffic heading north on the transcanda highway was reduced to one lane for approximately 1 hour.
