American Idol : New Age Limit

<a href=”http://memail.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/David-Archuleta.jpg”>It is said that the American Idol age limit has been dropped from 16 to 15 which will allow younger people go into the talent competition.

However we have heard through the previous seasons that youngsters do not necessarily have the experience to go into this level of competition –aged 16 or 17. And they will likely be dropped before the Hollywood auditions!

Some youngsters have made it but others were told ‘you need more time’.

We have seen a succession of brilliant very young talents aged 16 to 17, beautiful voices, but not all of them did make Hollywood because of “their lack of experience” .

Meanwhile, some of them did make it like Jordan Sparks and David Archuleta. They didn’t only make it to the competition itself but finished in first and second place respectively in their in season finales of American Idol.

So this new announcement, will it make any difference?

Auditions are set to begin on July 17 throughout six different cities in the USA.

Remember Simon Cowell has gone!!!
